ContributorNetwork - According to the United Nations and its estimate of the population count of the entire world, the world population reached 7 billion people at about 4 a.m. today. If the world population continues to grow at the rate that it is currently, the world will reach 8 billion people in about 2024. With this in mind, let us look at the year that the world reached 2 billion people.
