Turkey expels Israel ambassador over flotilla raid (AP)

Turkey said Friday it was expelling the Israeli ambassador and cutting military ties with Israel over the last year's deadly raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla.  Davutoglu said Turkey was downgrading diplomatic ties to the level of second secretary and that the ambassador and other high-level diplomats would leave the capital Ankara by Wednesday.(AP Photo)AP - Turkey expelled Israel's ambassador and cut military ties on Friday over Israel's refusal to apologize for last year's deadly raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla, further straining a relationship that had been a cornerstone of regional stability.
